Renowned anchorperson Ayesha Jahanzeb and her husband have reached an agreement in a case related to physical assault, Express News reported on Friday.

During the hearing in Lahore's session court, the Judge pointed at the bruises on the host's face, saying, "It seems you have faced a lot of cruelty."

"Have you come with your own free will [for an agreement]?" the Judge asked.

"Whatever has happened is very cruel and should not happen to any woman, but I accept whatever the dignitaries have decided," the host said during the hearing.

"I do not want to follow the case, this decision has been taken in the presence of witnesses," she added.

The court approved the agreement, stating that the decision to acquit her husband from the case would be based on the challan.

The matter came to light on July 10 when the host's bruised photos went viral on social media.

Talking to a private news channel, Ayesha said that she has been subjected to domestic violence for almost six months.

"This happened outside my home by my husband Haris Ali and still I can't figure out why he had done this. I have been suffering at the hands of my husband, and I have serious injuries to prove it," the host told the news channel outside a police station.

"I have tried my best to save this relationship," she added.

When asked about the reason behind her husband's inhumane behaviour, Ayesha shared that her husband had secretly married another woman.

In the video, torture marks were visible on Ayesha's face as she claimed that this was the fourth incident of domestic violence she had faced this year.
