ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has also fixed the hearing date for the miscellaneous applications for early hearing on the suspension of sentences of former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in the £190 million case.

The IHC registrar has fixed the miscellaneous applications for today (Thursday), and IHC Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Azam Khan will hear the case. Another application was also made for an early hearing of the suspension of the sentence of the PTI founder on medical grounds.

The main case has not been fixed yet, but only the miscellaneous applications have been fixed for the hearing. The last hearing on the suspension of sentence applications took place on September 26, 2025.

The PTI founder has already moved a petition in the IHC for suspension of sentence and bail in the Toshakhana-II case, which is also known as the Bulgari set case. Another miscellaneous application has been made for the early fixing of the sentence suspension case in the £190 million case.

Two different bail petitions were submitted in the IHC earlier this month for the bail of the PTI founder through Barrister Salman Safdar and Advocate Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry.

The bail petitions said that Imran is suffering from a serious disease in his right eye. Dr. Muhammad Arif of PIMS has diagnosed that due to the blood clot, the right eye is badly affected, and the vision has been reduced to only 15 percent. The disease cannot be treated properly in jail.

The bail petition further said that the PTI founder is 73 years old.
