Ex-Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah meets, takes selfie with mentally-challenged boy

The election campaign of the candidates willing to contest upcoming polls is gaining momentum. The candidates are trying to convince the masses to vote for them with their programs and acts in public gatherings.
A video of former Sindh chief minister and Pakistan People's Party candidate from PS-78 (Jamshoro-II) is winning the hearts of the internet. In the video, Murad Ali Shah is seen greeting a mentally challenged boy during his corner meeting in the constituency.
In the later, part of the video, the boy also takes selfie with Murad Ali Shah by sitting beside him. Meanwhile, the ECP in a meeting decided to hold general elections on February 8 at any cost.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has delegated first-class magistrate powers to the Presiding Officers to ensure the seamless execution of the general elections in 2024.
“All the Presiding Officers will have the powers of magistrate from February 7 to 9 in the upcoming general elections on February 8,” the spokesman of the ECP told APP.
The spokesman said that the Presiding Officers will be able to conduct trials on the spot besides the powers to be able to proceed under Sections 169, 171 and 174 of the Election Act.
