Exams postponed at three Islamabad centres on April 9, 10

ISLAMABAD: A notification has informed that the examinations which were scheduled for April 9 and 10 in three examination centres of Islamabad have been rescheduled owing to official instructions issued in view of the diplomatic activities currently taking place in Islamabad, states a report.

As per a notification issued by the Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (FBISE), “In view of diplomatic activities in Islamabad, the examinations scheduled for April 9 & 10 in the below mentioned examination centers are hereby postponed”.

These examination centers include Islamabad Model School For Boys (VI-X), G-6/4, Islamabad (Centre Code - 1296), Islamabad Model School for Boys (VI-X), G-6/4, Islamabad (Centre Code - 9133), and Islamabad Model School for Girls (I-X), PMs Staff Colony, G-5, Islamabad (Centre Code - 1375).

Furthermore, it stated that, “The revised date of these examinations will be announced later on”.

On Tuesday, the government of Islamabad issued a declaration for a two-day holiday considering the imminent negotiations between America and Iran at the capital level.

As per an official notice from the office of District Magistrate, Thursday and Friday have been declared as holidays in the revenue district of Islamabad Capital Territory.

It may be noted that essential services will continue to function, including health facilities.
