Father, grandfather arrested for 'raping' daughter in Punjab: police

In a shocking incident, a father and grandfather of an 18-year-old girl were arrested for allegedly raping her in Punjab’s Jaranwala, police said on Wednesday.

According to police, the victim, Madihah, who is living with her father and grandfather following the death of her mother was 'raped' by her blood relations. 

The accused were allegedly involved in brutal violence against the girl, inflicting severe physical harm, including pulling her fingernails.

Police stated that the suspects forced the victim to engage in drug trafficking activities.

The investigation is underway as authorities seek to gather more evidence in the case.
