Larkana youth accused of stealing pigeon dies in police custody

A 20-year-old boy, Sahil Solangi, accused of stealing a pigeon, died in police custody in Larkana.

According to local media reports, the victim was arrested two days ago on charges of stealing a pigeon.

The family of the deceased has accused the police of brutality, stating that Sahil was innocent and was falsely implicated in the case. They demand justice and action against the responsible police officials.

On the other hand, the police claim that Sahil committed suicide by hanging himself in the washroom of the lockup.

The police also stated that Sahil was alone in the lockup and no one else was present at the time of the incident.

An investigation into the incident is underway, and the authorities have promised to take action against those found responsible. The family and community are demanding transparency and justice in the case.

Meanwhile, Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjaar has also taken notice of the matter and has demanded a report from the police
