Mustafa Amir case: Father of prime suspect defends son’s gun battle with police

The father of the primary suspect in the Mustafa murder case has come to his son's defense regarding the altercation with law enforcement, refuting claims that his son was operating an illicit business within the high-tech room of their residence.

"I wish to clarify, once and for all, that the allegations suggesting my son runs a call center are unfounded. He operates a software development company where applications can be created. This facility is capable of designing comprehensive systems for a nation," stated Kamran Asghar Qureshi in an interview with Aaj News.

"This endeavor could potentially be valued at $1 trillion. If I have developed a system, would I permit anyone to take it? All the integrated laptops..."

When questioned about his son's confrontation with the police, Qureshi remarked, "He stood up for justice. He acted appropriately. What alternative was there? Should I request the police for protection? Are we out of our minds? What sort of individuals are we? Until we eliminate bribery, there is a deeper philosophy at play, but society must awaken."

Amir, a resident of Karachi, was reported missing on January 6, with authorities later discovering his charred remains in a vehicle in Balochistan, as disclosed during a press conference on Friday.

The police indicated that they became aware of the death following a startling confession from a suspect during the investigation.

As the narrative developed, investigators revealed on Saturday that the circumstances surrounding the missing person's demise stemmed from a dispute related to a female individual.

He also voiced his concerns regarding the victim's mother amidst the swirling rumors surrounding the case.
