Okara woman honey traps house owner for Rs200,000 extortion money

In a disturbing incident in Okara, a landlord became the victim of an elaborate honey trap orchestrated by his tenant, Mafiya Bibi.

The police have reported that Mafiya Bibi allegedly extorted a sum of 200,000 rupees from the landlord, Abdul Ghaffar, by luring him into a trap.

The incident unfolded when Mafiya Bibi, under the pretense of paying her rent, invited Abdul Ghaffar to her residence. Unbeknownst to him, this was a calculated move to ensnare him in a blackmail scheme. Upon his arrival, Mafiya Bibi summoned her accomplices, who were dressed in police uniforms, creating a façade of authority and intimidation.

The situation escalated as the accomplices physically assaulted Abdul Ghaffar and proceeded to record a compromising video of him. This video was then used as leverage in a sinister plot to extort money from the landlord. The perpetrators threatened to disseminate the indecent footage on social media platforms unless Abdul Ghaffar paid a ransom of 500,000 rupees.

In a desperate bid to protect his reputation, Abdul Ghaffar complied with the demands and paid 200,000 rupees. Following the payment, the suspects released him. The ordeal, however, did not end there.

The police, upon receiving a report of the incident, swiftly launched an investigation. As a result, two suspects, Imran Sohail alias Raju and Mafiya Bibi, were apprehended. The authorities have registered a case against them, and further investigations are underway to uncover the full extent of their actions and any additional accomplices.

This case highlights the growing concerns over such exploitative schemes and the use of digital platforms for blackmail.
