Pashto actress Khushboo 'murdered' in Nowshera for refusing to quit acting

The renowned Pashto drama actress Khushboo was tragically found dead in the Khush Maqam area of Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtukhwa.

As per District Police Officer (DPO) Azhar Khan, authorities were alerted about a body found in the fields, later identified as the actress.

Khushboo's brother, Shehryar, in his statement to the police said that the accused had repeatedly threatened her against participating in music concerts.

Allegedly, upon her refusal to yield, she was fatally shot, and her body was callously abandoned in the fields. The police have transferred her remains to a hospital for a thorough post-mortem examination.

Two individuals have been implicated in a murder case following Shehryar's complaint. Law enforcement agencies are actively conducting raids to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for this appalling act.
