Two of five brothers were killed while two others sustained injuries on Thursday near Karachi's Gurumandir were accused in a murder case.

The rescue officials shifted the bodies and injured to a nearby hospital. The deceased were identified as Shahid and Umair, and owners of the renowned dessert shop Peshawari Ice Cream.

The injured include Wajid, while the fifth sibling Muhammad Shan miraculously remained unharmed.

Now the investigation has revealed that the brothers were named in a murder case. The five brothers—Shan, Zubair, Sajid, Wajid, and Umair—were named in the case filed under case number 440/23 at the Soldier Bazaar police station.

On the night of December 24, Muhammad Ijaz, the owner of an ice cream parlor, was killed and his employee Adil was injured.

Riaz, the brother of the deceased Muhammad Ijaz, held all five brothers responsible for the murder.

The brothers who were injured and killed were on bail .

The incident occurred when the victims were on their way to court for a hearing related to the same case.

TRIGGER WARNING:

In a similar incident, on April 21, a middle-aged businessman was fatally shot allegedly by his friend and cousin outside his house in the upscale Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
