A disturbing incident of animal cruelty has emerged in Rawalpindi, where a man severed both ears of a donkey that had wandered onto his farm.

Initial reports indicate that the owner repeatedly visited the police station to file an FIR. The Rawat police finally registered the case 14 days after the incident occurred.

The plaintiff, Tanveer, reported that the donkey’s ears were cut off on June 4. He has called for legal action against the accused, Arshad Mehmood.

This incident follows a similar case in Sanghar, where an influential landowner cut off a camel's leg with an axe after it strayed into his fields. Two days later in Hyderabad, another donkey's leg was amputated following brutal torture.

These acts of animal cruelty have sparked widespread outrage, with citizens demanding stringent measures be taken against the perpetrators.
