Attock: A rickshaw driver killed a young man and seriously injured his father after a dispute over a fare in Attock's Awam Sharif area.
According to details, the incident occurred when Kashif, a young man, paid the rickshaw driver 200 rupees for the ride to the hospital, but the driver demanded 500 rupees. When Kashif refused to pay the extra amount, the rickshaw driver initiated an argument.
The dispute between the two was resolved by local residents, but later, the rickshaw driver, Umar, along with his accomplice Shano, attacked Kashif with knives near his house.
When Kashif's father, Munir, tried to intervene, both father and son were attacked.
Kashif, 37, was killed on the spot, while his father was severely wounded. Kashif, who worked as a dispenser at a private hospital, had been married just nine days prior to the incident.
Rescue services transferred the body and the injured father to the District Headquarters Hospital, while the police initiated a search operation in the area to apprehend the suspects.
