Robbers snatch Rs1.5 mln from Karachi's Khudadad Colony

In yet another example of the deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi, a man was deprived of Rs1.5 mln by armed robbers in Karachi's Khudabad Colony.
In the CCTV footage of June 4, dacoits intercepted a man carrying ban full of cash in Karachi's Khudabad Colony in broad daylight and easily fled the scene.
The recent days, have witnessed a sharp rise in street crimes in the city.
On June 4, armed muggers continued to strike with impunity in the city as another 20-year-old boy was killed by robbers in Karachi.
According to police, the incident took place near Nasir Jump in Korangi area of the port city on Monday night.
The victim, identified as Abdul Basit, belonged to Quetta and came to Karachi to make ends meet for his family.
Police said that the young boy used to sell shoes on his cart in the area.
Relatives of the victim boy informed that Basit did not show any resistance to the robbers during the incident.
