Sahiwal men rape newly married friend’s wife

In a disturbing incident, a newlywed bride was sexually assaulted by three men on the outskirts of Sahiwal. The assailants were reportedly friends of her husband.

According to reports, the shocking incident took place in Chak No 6, a suburb of Sahiwal. The bride, who had married just three days earlier on December 7, was gang-raped by three friends of her husband Muhammad Iqbal.

Muhammad Iqbal registered a First Information Report (FIR), in which he stated that after his marriage, he and his wife visited his friend Nadeem's house.

According to the FIR, the next day, when Iqbal needed to take his wife elsewhere, his friends Shafiq, Manzoor, and Nadeem suggested that he visit a dera with them.

After arriving at the dera, the three men locked Iqbal in a room and returned to the house, where they took turns raping the bride.

When the victim's health deteriorated, the accused left the door of the room open and fled the scene.

A case was registered under Section 375 of the Pakistan Penal Code at the Kassowal Police Station on the complaint of the victim's husband.

The police launched an investigation and arrested two of the culprits.
