Sheikhupura lawyer kills his client over money dispute

A Sheikhupura-based lawyer killed his client over money dispute, police said on Thursday. 

According to the police, lawyer Muhammad Akram was returning from Islamabad with his client when an argument over money escalated into a fight, leading the lawyer to openly fire shots, and causing his client, identified as Ali Jan, to lose his life.

The police report states that the accused, Muhammad Akram's firing, also injured the deceased's daughter and granddaughter.

The police have arrested the lawyer responsible for the shooting and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
