Speeding water tanker crushes motorcyclist to death in Karachi

A speeding water tanker ran over and killed a motorcyclist near Tariq Road in Karachi on Thursday.

According to the police, the accident occurred near Allah Wali Chowrangi. The identity of the victim is yet to be ascertained.

The driver tried to flee the scene, but the public caught him at some distance and handed him over to the police.

The police said that an FIR would be registered against the driver under negligent and rash driving charges, adding that he would be interrogated about whether he had a valid driving licence.

A day earlier, a motorcyclist, said the sole breadwinner of his family and the only brother of three sisters, was killed when a speeding truck ran over him near Kala Board.
