A woman who had earlier accused a Pakistan State Oil (PSO) pump in Gharibabad of filling her vehicle’s tank with water instead of diesel has retracted her statement, attributing the issue to a 'technical fault.'
The incident occurred at a PSO fuel station in Karachi's Bandhani Colony. The police also launched an investigation.
The complainant claimed that the issue was not the fault of the PSO staff but rather a technical problem that was resolved with the assistance of PSO members.
In a recent video, she stated, ““I refilled my car's tank from this pump yesterday, but water entered the tank. However, it was not their mistake, and they compensated and cooperated with me.”
“They resolved my car’s issue,” she said, adding,“II have always preferred PSO for refueling, and they handled my complaint appropriately.”
Earlier, the woman had alleged the PSO pump filled water instead of petrol in her car’s tank, she also showed a bottle full of water, stating that this bottle was filled by the same pump and they were giving water.
The fuel station in question came under scrutiny after the woman alleged that her car’s engine had deteriorated after refueling from there.
