Woman poisons husband to death in Punjab's Daska

In a shocking incident in Daska, a woman, with the assistance of her parents, allegedly poisoned her husband by mixing a toxic substance in his tea, the local police said.

The victim, identified as Zeeshan, was married to Raman, the sister of a man named Irfan, and had been residing at his in-laws' home in the Mohtra area.

According to reports, Zeeshan's mother-in-law, Razia, collaborated with Raman to lace his tea with poison.

Shortly after consuming the tea, Zeeshan began to feel unwell and was rushed to a local hospital for emergency treatment. Due to the severity of his condition, he was referred to a hospital in Sialkot. Unfortunately, he passed away before reaching the facility.

Police have registered a case against the accused individuals and launched an investigation into the matter.
