Woman waiting at bus stop abducted, gang-raped in Faisalabad

Unknown men abducted a woman waiting at a bus stop in Faisalabad and subjected her to gang rape, the local police said on Tuesday.

According to the police, the victim had left her home after a dispute with her husband. She was waiting at the Pull Neher Bangla stop at 9 PM when unknown individuals on a motorcycle abducted her.

The unknown men took her to a chamber in the Tehsil Kachery, and gang-raped her. The incident occurred in Tandlianwala Tehsil, Faisalabad.

CPO Kamran Adil stated that two teams have been formed to arrest the suspects. A case has been registered against three unknown individuals.

The forensic team has collected evidence, and the incident is being investigated from every angle. The SP of the Sadar Division has been ordered to arrest the suspects within 24 hours.
