Cricket Australia on Friday announced the establishment of a fan zone for Pakistani fans during the Australia-Pakistan white-ball series in November.
CA, in a statement, said that the plans have been made for the great experience of Pakistani fans during the test series.
“This exciting initiative is designed to foster inclusivity and provide brilliant experiences for cricket fans from diverse backgrounds,” the Australian cricket body stated.
Pakistan and Australia will play three ODIs and three T20Is matches. The series would begin in November at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Under the multicultural action plan, the authorities in Australia have designated specific seating areas for Pakistani fans across all six venues of ground.
“Within the venues, fans would be able to access prayer areas, and enjoy a selection of halal food, ensuring that fans can enjoy the matches comfortably and with cultural considerations in mind,” it said.
