Pakistan star player Babar Azam has performed Umrah (Islamic pilgrimage) in the holy month of Ramadan, during which he prayed for the peace of entire humanity.

The 29-year-old batter informed his followers about having the blessed opportunity on his official Instagram account.

The cricketer posted a picture of himself in Ahram in front of the Holy Kabaah.

"Feeling blessed and spiritually uplifted after performing Umrah. A moment of reflection and peace. Grateful for this journey and praying for the well-being and peace of the entire humanity," he wrote in the caption.

Hundreds of believers travel to Saudi Arabia every year and perform Umrah in the holy month of fasting, seeking the Almighty’s blessings during Ramadan.

However, this year, the Kingdom has barred pilgrims from performing more than one Umrah in Ramadan in order to avoid overcrowding.
