Following T20 World Cup 2024 exit owing to dismal performance in league matches, Pakistani skipper Babar Azam has arrived back home.
The 29-year-old batter landed at Lahore airport during the early hours of Tuesday.
Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, and several others from the team extended their stay in the US despite their elimination in the tournament's league stage.

Later, several media outlets reported that the cricketers had limited their interactions with fans following Haris Rauf's brawl.
Babar Azam and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan are likely to be demoted from the central contract A category due to the team's disappointing performance in the mega event.
However, the white-ball captain will meet Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi in a few days.
