Pakistan’s debutants Noman Ali and Sajid Khan cast the spell in the second Multan test, defeated England by 152 runs, and equalised the three-match series by 1-1.

Noman and Sajid gathered for the second time in the match to seal Pakistan’s first win in the home Test since 2021 against England.

Eight wickets fell in less than two hours, assisting green shirts in stopping the English team from achieving the target.

Sajid took 9 wickets, while Noman sent back English batters to the pavilion with his 11 wickets in the 4-day-long test.

In the last inning of the second test, with a positive commencement, Pakistan returned Ollie Pope to the pavilion on 37 runs. He lost his wicket on Sajid’s bowl.

However, the partnership of Joe Root and Harry Brookes led England’s score to 55 runs, but world-class batter Root failed to handle the bowl delivered by Noman Ali.

Subsequently, Brooke lost his wicket, and his partnership with Ben Stokes ended on 78 runs.

Pakistan won the toss, batted first and scored 366 runs thanks to the century of Kamran Ghulam, who played the first match and the innings of 77 runs by Saim Ayub.

Despite 100 runs from Ben Duckett, England could not chase the trail of 291 runs in the first inning, with Sajid Khan’s seven wickets Pakistan saved 75 runs.

In the second inning, Pakistan scored 221 runs, with the addition of 50 plus runs from Salman Ali Agha, setting 297 runs target for England. However, the guest lost all of their ten wickets on 144-run.
