Cricket fans are criticizing Pakistani opener Imam-ul-Haq for his ultra-defensive approach in a second test match against Australia.

Haq continued with his defensive approach in the Boxing Day Test match too as he scored 10 runs after facing 44 balls before he got out to legendary spinner Nathan Lyon.

The great off-spinner continued his brutal run against the lefties and dismissed the Pakistani batter on a defensive push as he drew the batter forward and then extracted the outside edge towards the second slip.

The batter scored 62 and 10 runs in Perth with the same approach. The defensive approach of Imam-ul-Haq put pressure on other batters, the fans argued.

Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon put Australia in the driving seat of the second Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground to leave Pakistan tottering at 194-6, still 124 runs behind on day two.

At stumps, Mohammad Rizwan was on 29 and Aamer Jamal not out two after Cummins took the crucial wickets of Abdullah Shafique (62) and Babar Azam (one), then Agha Salman (five).
