The International Cricket Council (ICC) has approved a hybrid hosting model for the 2025 Champions Trophy, with matches to be played across three venues in Pakistan and Dubai.

According to an agreement between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Pakistan will host 10 of the tournament's matches, including the group-stage encounters. However, all three of India's league-stage games, including the high-profile India-Pakistan clash, will take place in Dubai.

Additionally, both the semifinal and final are scheduled to be held in Dubai if India qualified.

In a separate arrangement, both boards have agreed that Pakistan will not travel to India for their league-stage match against India in the 2026 T20 World Cup.

Instead, the match will be played in Colombo, Sri Lanka, which is a co-host of the tournament. The PCB, despite not receiving any financial compensation for this adjustment, has secured the hosting rights for an ICC Women’s tournament after 2027 as part of the agreement.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from February 19 to March 9, 2025. Pakistan, the defending champions, clinched the title in the previous edition held in 2017.
