Pakistan's power hitter Iftikhar Ahmad has shared a picture of his hero, Pakistan Threek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, on his social media account.
Taking to X, the 33-year-old cricketer treated his fans with a post, featuring a photo of the former prime minister, Pakistani flag, and a JF-17 Thunder aircraft.
"My hero," Ahmad captioned the picture in which he was pointing his thumb to the 1992 World Cup-winning skipper.

However, not all reactions were positive, with many calling his action an attention-grabbing tactic.
"Bro knew he was receiving so much hate from everywhere and his career would end very soon, so to gain the support and sympathy of PTI workers, he did this."

Saad Kaiser said that the cricketer has a right to support anyone he wants, "just like we have the right to criticise his performance".
"Focus on your performance as well chacha, you performed extremely poorly in the World Cup. The whole Pakistan criticised you. Such tactics wonât make us forget that," he added.
