In a major achievement, Pakistani shooter Kishmala Talat has earned a spot in the shooting contest in the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.

Kishmala, known for winning a bronze medal in the Asian Games, delivered an outstanding performance at the Asian Shooting Championship for women's 10-meter air pistol in Jakarta.

During the initial round, Kishmala scored 575 points, securing her place in the finals. With remarkable skill in the final round, she competed against India's Eshs Singh for the gold medal and ultimately claimed the silver, securing a quota spot for the Paris Olympics 2024.

Razi Ahmed Khan, the secretary of the Pakistan Shooting Federation, confirmed Kishmala's achievement, highlighting that she is now set for the Paris Olympics.

Kishmala joins the ranks of Gulfam Joseph and GM Bashir as the third Pakistani shooter to qualify for the Olympics.

Beyond shooting, Arshad Nadeem has also secured a spot in the Olympics in athletics, while Usman Khan, an equestrian athlete, maintains a stable and strong qualification position.
