Pakistan's former captain Shahid Khan Afridi has broken the silence over the cyber attack targeting him for no reason.
The ex-skipper landed into hot water after an old video of Afridi resurfaced on the microblogging site X.
In the video, the 47-year-old cricketer could be seen talking about the no-confidence motion against former prime minister Imran Khan, his promises before coming to power in 2018 and his government's overall performance.
The video was from 2022 when Afridi was in London to raise funds for his charitable organisation.
As soon as the video circulated again, Imran Khan's supporters and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's social media started bashing the Pakistani star.
Responding to the negative comments, Afridi said: "I am a loving man and I will love them [those who critisice him]."
He made these remakrs while talking to the media at the launching ceremony of the Ramadan Football Tournament in Karachi.
"No matter how much criticism is given to me, I will not give any answer to those who bash me," Afridi added.
