A man was forced to leave the ground as he was raising a Palestine flag during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine match reportedly at the National Stadium in Karachi.
According to the sources, the incident purportedly happened during a match between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings on Monday (March 11).
In a viral video, a police constable, deployed for the safety and security of the spectators, can be seen forcing a man to leave the ground.
When the cop ejected the man from the ground, he took out the flag and raised it in front of the spectators, as shown in the video.
However, the policeman's move was not appreciated by the netizens, who lashed out at the PSL authorities for barring Palestinian flags in the stadium.
Earlier it was reported by several spectators that the authorities were not allowing the public to entre the ground with the flag of a war-torn Muslim country.
However, the viral video has proved the claims of the spectators.
At the start of a twenty-over event, Netizens also launched a boycott campaign against PSL after it announced KFC as its "official snacks partner".
