Mother's superstition: Hasan Nawaz's mother skips match to ward off 'evil eye'

Hasan Nawaz's parents expressed their happiness over the outstanding performance of their son against New Zealand in the third T20I.

Hasan Nawaz's father stated that despite limited resources, his son never lost heart in his journey. He started his career in the underdeveloped area of Kotla Haji Shah in Layyah.

He is very happy with his son’s excellent performance and is grateful to God.

Hasan Nawaz’s mother mentioned that she didn’t watch the match due to the fear that her son might be affected by the "evil eye."

After scoring an unbeaten 105 runs off 44 balls against New Zealand in Auckland, leading his team to victory, Hassan Nawaz spoke to the media, dedicating his century to his father, who always prays for him.

For his outstanding performance in the third T20 match against New Zealand, Hasan Nawaz was named Player of the Match. He also broke Babar Azam's record for the fastest T20 International century by a Pakistani cricketer.
