New Zealand clinched a place in the ICC Champions Trophy final after defeating South Africa by 50 runs.
They will now face India in the final on March 9 in Dubai.
Opting to bat first, New Zealand built a commanding total of 362/6. Rachin Ravindra (108) and Kane Williamson (102) anchored the innings with a 164-run partnership, while late contributions from Daryl Mitchell (49) and Glenn Phillips (49) strengthened the total. Lungi Ngidi took 3/72 for South Africa.
In reply, South Africa struggled despite a strong middle-order fight. Temba Bavuma (57) and Rassie van der Dussen (69) led the chase before a collapse left them at 218/8.
David Miller’s unbeaten 100 off 67 balls kept hopes alive, but the target remained out of reach as South Africa finished at 312/9.
New Zealand’s bowlers, led by Mitchell Santner (3/43) and supported by Glenn Phillips and Matt Henry (two wickets each), ensured their side’s victory.
