Overwhelming demand crashes website for ICC Champions Trophy 2025 tickets

Cricket enthusiasts faced difficulties purchasing tickets for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 as the official ticketing website crashed due to an overwhelming surge in traffic.

The ticket sale for matches hosted in Pakistan went live at 2:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time (PST) on Monday, drawing an unexpectedly large number of fans eager to secure seats for the eight-team tournament.

As buyers flooded the website, its servers failed to handle the massive traffic, leaving many fans unable to complete their purchases for the much-anticipated event.

In response, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced steps to address the issue by increasing server capacity to accommodate the high demand.

Tickets for the tournament are priced between PKR 1,000 and 25,000, depending on the venue, seating category, and match. Spectators can choose from various ticketing categories, including General Enclosure, First Class, Premium, VIP, VVIP, and Gallery, catering to diverse preferences.

The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 will showcase matches at Pakistan’s newly renovated venues, promising a thrilling experience for fans.
