Pakistan on Tuesday announced its playing XI for the third and final Test of the ongoing series against Australia.

Opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq won't be playing the Test beginning tomorrow at Sydney ground, and instead, Ayub will debut as the opener.

The team includes Captain Shan Masood, Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafiq, Babar Azam, Saud Shakil, Muhammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Sajid Khan, Hassan Ali, Mir Hamza, and Amir Jamal.

Pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has reportedly been rested for the third Test. It's important to note that Australia are leading the three-match Test series with two wins.

Earlier, the Pakistan cricket team landed in Sydney ahead of the Test, while it was reported that the director of the Pakistan cricket team, Mohammad Hafeez, missed his flight from Melbourne to Sydney.
