Pakistan's Asjad Iqbal delivered a stunning performance at the ongoing IBSF World 6 Red Snooker Championship 2024 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on Tuesday.
The national cueist secured a spot in the final with a resounding 6-0 victory over India's Malkeet Singh in the semi-finals.
Iqbal dominated the contest from start to finish, not allowing Singh to win a single frame.
The Pakistani star began strongly, taking the first frame 49-18. He maintained his momentum, winning the subsequent frames 38-34, 46-13, 40-31, 52-13, and 45-0.
Singh struggled to cope with Iqbal's exceptional form, failing to make a massive break throughout the match.
In contrast, Iqbal produced an impressive break of 40 in the sixth frame, underscoring his superiority.
The convincing win followed Iqbal's quarter-final triumph over Cyprus' Michael Georgiou, whom he defeated 5-2.
Iqbal's impressive performance has sparked hopes of Pakistan claiming the championship title and snooker enthusiasts eagerly await the final match.
