Pakistan have revealed their playing XI for the third and final T20I against South Africa, set to be held at The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.
Salman Ali Agha returns to the team, replacing Usman Khan, who has struggled with the bat in recent games.
Khan, with 232 runs from 18 T20I matches and a strike rate of 122.75, has been replaced after a series of low performances. Agha’s inclusion strengthens the middle order, while Pakistan’s opening duo of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan returns to the top, with Saim Ayub moving to number three.
South Africa, leading the series 2-0, comfortably won the second T20I after chasing down Pakistan’s target of 207. Despite a valiant 98-run knock from Ayub, along with handy contributions from Irfan Khan and Afridi, South Africa's Hendricks stole the show with a blistering 117. Rassie van der Dussen’s 59 not out saw the hosts home in the final over.
Pakistan Playing XI for Third T20I: Mohammad Rizwan (C/WK), Babar Azam, Saim Ayub, Tayyab Tahir, Salman Ali Agha (VC), Muhammad Irfan Khan, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Jahandad Khan, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed.
