The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the revised schedule for the upcoming three-match T20 International series between Pakistan and Bangladesh, confirming that all matches will be played at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium from May 28 to June 1.
According to the PCB, the series will begin with the first T20I on Wednesday, May 28, followed by the second on Friday, May 30. The final match will take place on Sunday, June 1. All fixtures are scheduled to start at 8:00 PM local time.
Bangladesh’s squad is expected to arrive in Lahore on May 25, with training sessions planned for May 26 and 27.
The final agreement for the tour was reached during a meeting in Dubai between PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, BCB Chairman Nazmul Abedin, and BCB President Faruque Ahmed. The series was initially planned as a five-match tour with games in Faisalabad starting on May 25. However, security and logistical factors led to a reduction to three matches, all hosted in Lahore.
PCB Chairman Naqvi thanked the Bangladesh Cricket Board for confirming the tour and supporting Pakistan’s international cricket commitments.
Bangladesh will be captained by Litton Das, with Mahedi Hasan named as vice-captain for the Pakistan and UAE tours.
The series had faced uncertainty due to regional tensions and the mid-season postponement of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), but has now been confirmed.
