Following the setback against Bangladesh in the home test series, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has resumed its search for a high-performance red-ball coach.
The recent hunt, aiming to improve the performance of the national cricket team, has been advertised on the cricket board's website.
According to the cricket body, a high-performance coach would assist the head coach of the team in game planning and also be responsible for informing the upper management about the performance of the players in the match.
Applicants holding five years’ experience or level two expertise would be considered for the vacant position.
The applications for the vacancy will be received by October 7.
The development came after Bangladesh clean sweep Pakistan in a three-match test series.
In the said series Australia’s Tim Nilson had trained the Green Shirts as high performance coach. Nilson was called by the red-ball coach Jason Gillespie.
However, the cricket sector has been passing through changes in different sectors of the game, including office bearers and players since the defeat trend prevailed, from the World Cup 2024 hosted by India.
