The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the prize money for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), set to kick off on April 11, 2025.

According to the PCB, the champions of PSL 10 will receive a cash prize of USD 500,000, while the runners-up will take home USD 200,000.

The announcement comes a day before the much-anticipated opening match between defending champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars, who have won the title twice.

The six-team tournament will feature 34 matches across four venues — Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Multan — from April 11 to May 18.

Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the most games (13), including both Eliminators and the final.

Rawalpindi will stage 11 matches, including the first Qualifier, while Karachi and Multan will each host five fixtures.

The season will open with a grand ceremony, followed by the curtain-raiser.

Three double-headers are scheduled during the competition, including two on Saturdays and one on Labour Day (May 1).

Team leadership remains largely unchanged for PSL 10. Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi will continue to lead Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, Multan Sultans, and Lahore Qalandars respectively.

However, David Warner will captain Karachi Kings, while Saud Shakeel will take charge of Quetta Gladiators.
