In a heartwarming moment during the ongoing first test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Rawalpindi, fast bowler Shaheen Afridi celebrated the wicket of Hasan Mahmud by dedicating it to his newborn son, Aliyar.
Afridi's gesture was caught on camera, showing him mimicking holding a baby in his arms as he celebrated the dismissal.

In the match, Bangladesh took a lead of 117 runs after scoring 565 runs in their first innings, with Mushfiqur Rahim top-scoring with 191 runs.
Naseem Shah claimed three wickets and Afridi, Khurram Shehzad, and Muhammad Ali sent two batters each to the pavilion.
Pakistan, in its first innings, scored 448 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Earlier today, the 24-year-old pacer received the good news of becoming a father when he was en route to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium for the match.
Shaheen and Ansha tied the knot in a beautiful daytime private ceremony in Karachi on February 3 last year.
Later on September 19, 2023, the left-arm fast bowler took his wife home after a grand rukhsati (seeing off) ceremony hosted by Afridis at a local hotel in the metropolis. The valima was held on September 21.
Anha is the daughter of iconic Pakistani player, Shahid Afridi. The couple were engaged for two years ago before tying the knot.
