T20 World Cup 2024: Indian fans request Shaheen to go easy against Rohit-XI

Pakistan and India are set to lock horns tomorrow (June 9) in high-voltage T20I World Cup match at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York at 7:30pm PST.

The Green Shirts started their mega-event campaign with a humiliating defeat against the USA.

However, Babar-XI are hopeful of getting momentum with a win against arch-rival India.

Ahead of the match, Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi met Indian fans on the streets of New York.

The video of the interaction also went viral on social media, in which the Indian group was seen overjoyed by meeting the 24-year-old bowler.

During the funny banter, a fan requested Shaheen to go easy against Rohit-XI.

Another fan, in a light-hearted moment, urged Shaheen to consider Rohit Sharman and Virat Kohli as his brothers.

"Consider Rohit and Virat as your best friends," he said.
