Usman Wazir knocks out Indian opponent in 1 minute in World Youth Boxing Championship

Pakistan's star athlete Usman Wazir secured a stunning knockout victory over Indian boxer Thilak Selvam in the first round of the World Youth Boxing Championship in Bangkok on Thursday.

The thrilling match lasted only one minute and five seconds, cementing Wazir's 14th consecutive win in the boxing ring.

The highly anticipated clash between Pakistan and India took place at the Thai Boxing Arena. 

As the bell rang, signaling the start of the first round, the 24-year-old Pakistani boxer unleashed his formidable prowess. 

Thilak Selvam struggled to withstand Wazir's powerful punches, succumbing to the pressure within seconds.

After a swift combination, Selvam sat down in the ring, momentarily regaining his composure. However, Wazir seized the opportunity to deliver another decisive blow, leaving the Indian boxer reeling. 

Recognising Selvam's inability to continue, the referee declared Wazir the winner on technical grounds.

Following his impressive victory, Usman Wazir extended an olive branch, appealing to the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India to foster good relations between the two nations.

With his 14th consecutive win, Usman Wazir continues to inspire a new generation of Pakistani boxers, showing the country's potential for excellence in international sports.
