WATCH: Spanish police assault football fan protesting against Gaza war

The Spanish police assaulted a football fan for invading the ground during a football match to record his protest against Israel for genocide in Gaza.

In the viral video, a man can be seen running on the ground with a white flag, which indicates peace on the ground, who was later chased down by the security staff.

Moments later, the players and the crowd rushed to the ground to save the man from the police. 

The act of the players and the crowd is being appreciated.

Earlier, the German police assaulted Scotland's Celtic football club fan and pushed him to the ground for carrying a Palestinian flag.

The incident happened during UEFA Champions League game against Celtic at Borussia Dortmund's home ground Signal Iduna Park as three of five police officers at the site knelt on the football fan for several minutes.

Israel has continued its brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip following an attack by the Palestinian group Hamas last Oct. 7, despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire.
