Yousuf Awan secures 2 golds 1 silver at World Bodybuilding Championship

Weightlifter Yousuf Awan etched his name in history by securing two gold and one silver medal at the World Bodybuilding Championship, hosted by the United World Sports and Fitness Federation.

Hailing from Sukkur, Awan's journey to international acclaim began in 2021 when he clinched the Mr Sindh title during bodybuilding competitions. He later participated in the South Asia Championship and secured third place. 

Now, he represented the nation in the World Championship and brought home multiple medals.

With hardwork and dedication, Yousuf Awan has made Pakistan proud by clinching two gold medals and one silver medal at the 2024 World Bodybuilding Championship in Thailand

Bodybuilder Yousuf Awan thanked Sindh Government Spokesperson and Sukkur Mayor Arsalan Sheikh for his crucial support during a period of financial hardship.

He appealed to the government to extend their generous support to enable him bring further laurels to Pakistan.
