The participants of the protest walked a makeshift runway wearing homemade and custom-designed outfits carrying political messages such as “The Devil Wears Amazon,” “No AI,” and “Labour is Power.”

The campaign emerged across subway stations, bus stops and city streets, criticizing Bezos and his wife. Both of them are serving as lead sponsors and honorary co-chairs of this year’s Met gala.
