According to reports, police had initially asked for a 14-day remand for the accused, but Judge Shafqat Abbas granted a four-day remand, directing investigators to complete the investigation and present the suspects again on February 3 before the court.

The petition also claimed that police officials and government representatives harassed the grieving family after the incident.

However, doctors said the girl died on the way to the hospital.

The body has reportedly been found in a sewage drain about one kilometer from the incident spot.
