He said that the registration of traders has been done in collaboration with the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) to make it transparent and fair.

The motion was tabled by Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) lawmaker Anil Kumar, who proposed that the licenses of liquor shops should be cancelled.
