The search operation continues after the K2 cargo plane went missing, with all five crew members still unaccounted for. While parts of the aircraft have been recovered, there has been no report regarding the whereabouts of any of the crew members.

Imdad Baloch while speaking to Dialogue Pakistan, who is Captain Faisal's grandfather, Captain Faisal, 32, got married four years ago and has a two-year-old son.

According to Faisal's grandfather, he told that the flight had gone to Sharjah, where a part of the aircraft was found to be missing. As a result, the crew remained there for seven to eight days until the required part was installed before returning.

He told that the aircraft took off from Sharjah at 7 pm, and Faisal's wife was tracking the flight until the signal was lost. He told that around 10 pm, the family received the news that the plane had crashed.

One crew member, Arif Siddiqui's son, told dialogue Pakistan that his father had served as an engineer with PIA for many years. He told that K2 Airways' aircraft had undergone maintenance and was scheduled to return to Karachi.

He told that his father had texted his mother saying they would leave for Karachi shortly. He told that the incident took place around 9:30 pm, but the family came to know about it around midnight through a relative. His brother then contacted sources and they learned that Arif Siddiqui was among the crew members on the same flight.

He said, "allah ki zaat mojzay krti hai, mojzay ka intezar hai"
