A brave Palestinian woman rescued an injured man amid continuous gunfire from Israeli Defence Force (IDF) soldiers in the Gaza Strip. The dramatic rescue was captured on camera by journalists.
The video shows Israeli gunfire echoing through the area as the woman fearlessly approaches the injured man to save him.
"May God protect her, may they not shoot her. What kind of courageous heart do you have?" a man was heard saying while filming the scene.
"That’s a woman worth a million men," said the journalist who recorded the video.
The woman successfully reached the victim of the Israeli attack, not hesitating even though it was unclear whether he was dead or alive.
Those filming the video confirmed the man was injured.
After checking that the man was alive, the woman signalled a nearby ambulance. Health workers swiftly arrived with a portable stretcher, and together, they safely transported the injured man.
Both the woman and the volunteers remained unharmed during the daring rescue.
The video, filmed by journalist Yahya Al Farra and his colleagues, was shared on Instagram by Translating Falasteen, along with an English translation of the incident.
Netizens praised the woman and the volunteers for their courage and selflessness in risking their lives to save another.
"Braver than all of the IDF together," an Instagram user commented on the video.
