Amer Al Mahdi Mansour Al Gaddafi, a Libyan pilgrim, never imagined that his name would become an obstacle on his sacred journey to Hajj. But his unwavering faith and determination turned a setback into a miracle.
Amer arrived at the airport, ready to embark on his pilgrimage. However, during routine security checks, officials flagged an issue, his name included "Gaddafi," raising concerns due to its association with Libya’s former ruler.
While the rest of the pilgrims completed their formalities and boarded the plane, Amer found himself stuck in a security hold-up.
While his issue was still being resolved, the plane’s doors closed, and the flight departed without him due to time constraints and unresolved security concerns.
A security officer even told him, Maybe Hajj is not in his destiny. But Amer, full of conviction, responded, "I will not leave this place unless it’s toward Hajj."

Then something unexpected happened. The aircraft encountered a technical fault mid-air and was forced to return to the airport for inspection.
Yet, even after the first emergency landing, Amer was not allowed to board. The plane took off once again, without him.
Still, he waited, refusing to lose hope. In a remarkable twist, the plane experienced a second technical issue and was forced to return once more. This time, a surprising turn of events changed everything.
The captain unexpectedly changed his decision and said, 'I swear I won’t fly again unless Amer is on board.'
With that, Amer was finally allowed to join the flight. Overcome with emotion, he expressed his gratitude.
"I only wanted to go to Hajj. And I believed that if it was written for me, no force could prevent it," he said.
Amer’s story has since resonated with many online, inspiring countless others with his message of faith, patience, and divine destiny.
