Children in Gaza ingeniously created an alternative blender that works with a battery amid power outage and acute shortage of essential items during Israeli military offensive.
A video shared by several Palestinian accounts showed two children using a car battery and a wooden contraption to power a makeshift blender.
The contraption is fitted with a blade, which the children lowered into a small glass container filled with chickpeas, likely to prepare hummus.
Despite its simplicity, the alternative blender efficiently blended the chickpeas into a smooth paste, showcasing the resourcefulness of Palestinians living under dire conditions.
Amid relentless Israeli attacks, Palestinians in Gaza continue to demonstrate resilience and creativity, finding ways to navigate life in their besieged land.
Many have taken to social media to document their daily struggles and shed light on the humanitarian crisis.
Some share updates about the situation on the ground, while others use cooking videos or similar creative outlets to connect with the outside world and share their stories amid a communication blackout and unrelenting violence.
The overall Palestinian death toll since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza has reached at least 43,846 with more than 103,740 wounded. Thousands more remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
